Common Payment Issues
1. Billing Address Mismatch
- The Issue: The address entered does not match the address on file with your credit card company. This is a security requirement (AVS) enforced by your bank.
- How to Fix It: Always use the exact billing address linked to your payment card, not the address of your organization or event location.
- Tip: If you are using a corporate card, contact your financial or fiscal team to confirm the correct billing address and zip code on file for that specific card
2. Merchant Code Restrictions
- The Issue: Your bank or credit card may have restrictions on the types of vendors or merchant codes they allow for online transactions.
- How to Fix It: This requires action from your bank. Contact your financial or fiscal team and ask them to verify that the card is permitted to make payments to online merchants like ours.
