The University of Colorado Boulder Grant Opportunity

 

A two-year grant is available to Colorado schools and educational agencies to implement the Botvin LifeSkills Training (LST) High School program with grade 9 or 10, starting in fall 2026.

 

Schools already implementing the program are eligible. Botvin LST promotes positive youth development by preventing substance use, violence, and other high-risk behaviors by building personal self-management skills, social skills, and refusal skills.

 

The grant covers all costs for training, ongoing support, and curriculum materials. Applications are being accepted Oct 1 – Dec 9, 2025. For more information, visit our website.


Menstrual Hygiene Products Accessibility Grant Program

 

Applications are now open for CDE’s 2025-2026 Menstrual Hygiene Products Accessibility Grant Program and will close on October 9th. Approximately. $90,000 is available to support schools in providing free menstrual hygiene products and/or installing and maintaining dispensing machines and disposal receptacles.

STOP School Violence Program FY2025 Funding Opportunity

 

The Students, Teachers, Officers Preventing (STOP) School Violence Grant Program is designed to improve K-12 school safety and security by providing students and teachers with the tools they need to recognize, respond quickly to, and help prevent acts of violence. The STOP School Violence Act of 2018 gave the Department of Justice the authority to provide awards to grantees to implement evidence-based school safety programs and technology.

OJJDP FY25 Community and Schools Youth Drug Prevention Program

 

Provides funding that supports communities to implement a range of youth substance use prevention strategies, such as investigations, treatment, and education in coordination with local law enforcement and community coalitions that include but are not limited to the following:

 

  1. Developing comprehensive prevention programs for students from preschool to grade 12, covering education, early intervention, mentoring, and treatment referral
  2. Integrating family engagement strategies to prevent or address substance use
  3. Offering training for school staff, parents, law enforcement, and community members
  4. Supporting "safe zones of passage" for students.

Elevating Prevention In Colorado (EPIC) Grant Funding

 

The EPIC grant funding opportunity, RFA #49960377, empowers communities to establish a collective impact system that fosters comprehensive primary prevention efforts for substance use and misuse, aligning with community needs.
