School Access for Emergency Response Grant Announcement
The Colorado Office of School Safety is happy to announce the availability of funds through The School Access for Emergency Response program (SAFER) enacted by SB23-241 provides funding for interoperable communication hardware, software, equipment maintenance and training to allow for seamless communications between existing school communications systems and first responder communications systems.
Application and Review Process
All eligible applications, EOP, MOUs , and Implementation plans received by the submission deadline Tuesday, May 13, 2024 by 5:00 PM MST, will be reviewed by the grant selection committee (GSC). Ensure that you thoroughly review the application guidebook prior to completing the application for instructions on completing and submitting your application!
