If you, your family, or someone you know is struggling with food insecurity, please share these vital resources:

  • Dial 2-1-1: 211 Colorado is the primary resource for connecting with food, utility, housing, and other social services in your local community. It is confidential, multilingual, and available 24/7.
  • Feeding Colorado: Visit the Feeding Colorado website or contact them directly to find your nearest food bank or food pantry across the state. They are working with hundreds of local organizations to meet the unprecedented demand.
  • Hunger Free Colorado: Their Statewide Food Resource Hotline can connect you with food and nutrition resources, regardless of legal status, in over 150 languages.
  • WIC (Women, Infants, and Children): If you are pregnant, a new mom, or raising a child under 5, check on your continued eligibility for WIC. This program provides healthy foods, nutrition education, and more.

The Colorado state government has also worked to allocate emergency funding to bolster food banks and support the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program.

How the Professional Community Can Help:

  • Share this post: Use your network to amplify these resources.
  • Volunteer: Local food banks and pantries are in desperate need of volunteers.
  • Donate: Financial donations are often the most impactful way to help food banks purchase essential items at scale. Consider donating to a local food bank or directly to Feeding Colorado.

Let's support our Colorado neighbors and ensure no family goes hungry. Together, we can build a more resilient and food-secure community.
