- Gun Violence Prevention & Parents of Students (HB25-1250): This legislation mandates that the state develop and post gun violence prevention materials online for schools to share with parents, ensuring families have access to important safety information.
- Protect Students from Restraint & Seclusion Act (HB25-1248): This bill moves the existing laws about restraint and seclusion from youth detention to the section of education law, clarifying the legal framework for these practices in public schools.
- Advisory Board Serving Office of School Safety (HB25-1173): This bill creates an advisory board to serve the Office of School Safety, ensuring diverse perspectives and community input on our safety initiatives.
