1. SAFE SCHOOLS SUMMIT: Register Now—Deadline is October 15th!
Don't miss the annual Safe Schools Summit on Thursday, October 23rd. The agenda includes keynotes from Dr. Dorothy Espelage, Dr. Gina Ligon, and Will Bowen, plus deep-dive breakout sessions.

2. Welcoming a Crisis Response Expert
We are pleased to announce that Dr. Kristin Kushmider, Ph.D., has joined the OSS Crisis Response Unit. With nearly 30 years of experience in crisis intervention, suicide prevention, and threat assessment, her expertise is a tremendous asset to our schools.
3. Action Required: Gun Violence Prevention Materials
The Office of Gun Violence Prevention has finalized the materials for HB25-1250. Schools are required to distribute these documents, in a written or electronic format, to each parent, guardian, and legal custodian of enrolled students. Find documents here.
4. Save the Date for the Youth Suicide Prevention Symposium
