The Colorado School Safety Resource Center (CSSRC/Center) is accepting applications for sites to assist us with a threat assessment project. The Center received a grant from the Bureau of Justice Assistance to work with the Center for the Study and Prevention of Violence (CSPV) at CU Boulder, to refine the Colorado Threat Assessment & Management Protocol (CTAMP) and training. This phase is completed.
The Center is now accepting applications for thirty multidisciplinary intervention teams (e.g., administrator, school mental health professional, and law enforcement official) selected from Colorado schools to include urban, suburban, and rural middle and high schools.
Selected teams will sign an agreement (MOU) that details their roles and responsibilities, participate in training and use the CTAMP. A secure online portal will be available to more efficiently and effectively track threat assessments and response management plans.
